In orchard production, fruit bagging technology is one of the important means to improve fruit appearance quality. According to the 2011 National Fruit bagging technology symposium, fruit bagging technology has been widely used in apples, pears, grapes, plums, bananas and other fruits. Therefore, in fruit production, we must improve the appearance quality of fruit, reduce pesticide residues and mechanical damage, and improve the quality of pollution-free fruit production, in order to obtain good economic benefits.

Fruit bagging cultivation started late in China, and from 2000 to 2016, there were often some new problems caused by bagging, especially the adverse effects on the internal quality of fruit, such as sunburn, wet damage, bitter pox, mealbug conniform and other new problems due to improper technology, which limited the application of fruit bagging technology to a certain extent. However, relevant theoretical research has been gradually improved in recent years, and basically all fruit producing areas have accumulated a lot of bagging experience for various fruit crops from continuous practice.

Fruit bagging cultivation

Fruit bagging technology was first used in Japan, South Korea, the United States and other countries in the early 1970s, and gradually began to apply orchard production. So far, it is still a technology that people in the world continue to explore and study in practice. For fruit bagging material requirements are very strict, can use paper bags or PE film, can not use discarded plastic bags, because discarded plastic bags belong to "white pollution", which brings great harm to environmental protection. According to the survey of agricultural development in Asia, Japan's agricultural science and technology rose earlier, and many agricultural fields adopted new technologies and new schemes to provide their own output. Japan's fruit bagging technology also developed earlier and was widely used.

At first, many agricultural authorities in Japan found fruit vulnerable to external damage and tried to change this. In order to prevent the destruction of external forces, some agricultural technology researchers provide the outside of the grapes for bagging treatment, and achieved better results. Apples were then bagged. Agricultural technologists have found that bagging not only keeps insects away, but also creates good conditions for the fruit itself to grow, creating a greenhouse effect. Japan has developed well in the field of apple bagging technology; And South Korea began to use bagging technology in the 1980s. The technology was first used on Apple. However, due to the small domestic labor force, bagging labor is needed, which is why only about 5% of the total area of apples are bagged. Use bagged excellent quality apples, mainly for export, appearance quality and commodity value have greater space. Due to the application of bagging technology in more and more fields, the labor and labor intensity of bagging has risen sharply, and the labor shortage is becoming increasingly obvious, which is one of the important reasons for restricting the implementation of fruit bagging technology.
